- Hostel: There are separate hostels for working women as well as for boys and girls. The hostels have dining, entertainment, indoor games, and internet access. To meet the needs of the inmates staying in these hostels, common amenities such as health centres, gyms, fitness centres, and cooperative stores are located nearby.
- Library: Gandhigram Rural Institute Library was founded in 1956. It relocated to its current location in 1987, with over 1.79 lakh books and 284 printed Indian journals in a separate journal section.
